This fun & interactive 3-hour workshop equips expecting moms and their partners with a few tools to be prepared for the labor and birth of their baby. Each pregnant participant will receive booklets packed with evidence-based information. Topics discussed:

*Comfort measures and tools for labor & birth

*Birth partners will learn how to best support laboring moms

*Birth planning and birth choices

Please note that this is not a comprehensive childbirth preparation class. Participants are encouraged to prepare ahead of the workshop by learning about the process of birth with the resources that are sent to each participant prior to the workshop. If you would like a more comprehensive class, sign up for one of my comprehensive childbirth courses instead.

This series is ideal for those who would like to invest time in being confident and prepared for birth. Generally we plan for 6 hours of live sessions (virtual or in-person) to go over pre-studied topics (see below for topics) and try hands-on techniques.  We can split the 6 hours into 3 sessions at 2 hours each, or 2 sessions 3 hours each, or one day. I have the flexibility to make childbirth preparation fit your schedule and needs! It is recommended that you plan on completing the series by your 36th week of pregnancy. Ideally taken in the 7th or 8th month of pregnancy.
